Campaign Missions Crash under Mac [resolved]

Hello there!

I am playing SunAge on Mac. Sadly, the mission "Assimilation" of the Sentinel Campaign keeps crashing, especially during dialogue scenes. I am dying to get to know the Sentinel better, and to have all those questions answered... Is there any way this can be fixed?

Thank you!

Hi velox,

Thanks for telling me. Ohmy - assimilation - the map thats gonna haunt me all life i guess.
I recently fixed some of the scripts that are heavily used in this map, so i guess that is the problem.

Did u buy it in the macgamestore.com ? if so: please update to new version (1.12.8) -
i released that one yesterday. And RESTART the map (assimilation) - the map-fixes are active then.

If you bought it via the Apple Mac Store i fear you have to wait until next week - their update approval process
is taking ages.

Please let me know, when the problem's fixed. I will give it a go as well today - see if i can reproduce that crash.

Cheers,
Roman

Just saw what the real problem was. Fixed it already.

The update is available as of now and should automatically load (blue bar at splash screen) -
restart the map from scratch, and you should be fine.

Thanx.

Thanks for your quick reply.

I installed the update through the AppStore today and restarted the map "Assimilation". Unfortunately, it crashed again at the same point, after the labyrinth test when Ethan is hailed as Hellraiser and enflames the souls of the Raak-Zun. When Lex joins the circle, the game crashes.

I've played the map to this point a few times now and, to be honest, I'd be quite happy just to skip the mission. Is there a way to do that?

Thank you!
