Latest News: SunAge Patch / Demo in the works
Work has begun on the next SunAge patch and the long-awaited Demo! We wanted to get a few new features, balance changes and general improvements (and fixes!) implemented before we released a Demo and we are well on our way.
For all of you who have the game, come join us on the Forums! We will be discussing balance changes and improvements for the game as well as inviting a select few to participate in testing the patch before it is released.
This is just a quick update. However, whether you have SunAge or not, stop by the forum and give us a shout! Tell us how we can improve your SunAge experience.

Re: Latest News: SunAge Patch / Demo in the works
Well, at the moment, all I know is this: Hotkeys for all units, research and buildings. Balance changes: Storage now stores 1000, instead of 750. Costs 300 Nitrium instead of 200. And has 1200 hp instead of 1000. (This means you can save space for other things, like turrets!) Mutant's projectile speed has been increased by 35%. Stalkers have had their range reduced by ~10% and turrets have had their range increased by roughly 10%, which now means that the Stalker must be within Turret range to fire on it. (I'm not finished with the Stalker though) And I'm currently working on Anti-Air, Turrets and Siege units. We're going to be testing this out sometime soon and anyone who is active and constructive is likely to be invited help beta test the patch. Just tell us what you can offer!

hot keys would be my fist choice i also managed to walk this game through generally just using canons and something to heal them, if something is hitting them from afar one just returns fire with long range weapon, although i do understand that the ai is pretty thick and that tactic would not work with a human :)

Yeah, the ai is quite dumb especially when it comes to knocking out stationary defenses. Actually have no clue why this is. Technically there shouldn't be too much difference between hostile squads and hostile turrets.

hopefully very soon. From our (vertex4) side the demo is finished, but there are some things to clarify with our publisher, so its on hold right now *sigh*.
